Lost data

Postby Metalsmith » Thu Jan 07, 2010 5:44 am

I have an extensive collection of MPG records starting back on my Palm. Yesterday MPG decided to erase data. I still have an entry for each date *(I think), but the numbers have all been changed to 0.0. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Is there any recovery?

See this link for recovering your backup from iTunes...

IF you can recover your backup, then you can use SyncDocs to restore it.

Any idea what you were doing when MPG lost all your data? I've never heard of MPG doing that.

Had encountered the same problem when I had restored my ipod last month. The only thing I can do after watching all my music files and videos (about close to 20GB) being removed, is painfully up-load back every single music file back to ipod directly (as I don't store files in iTunes), and it really took me quite some time finish up the up-loadings.

And it is even worse when there is so much files to be place back to ipod, which is so time-consuming and some time it could lead to the whole PC to "hang"
