BTW, this is something I haven't seen mentioned (though I may have missed it).

When enough bugs in PMD have been squashed to allow the GM release, will PMD be able to import QIF/OFX files? Otherwise, how should someone migrate from Quicken/MS Money to PMD?

Ouicken-> QIF->PM->pocketmoney.sql->PMD?

Ouicken-> QIF->PM->pocketmoney.sql->PMD?

The process for PMD 1.0 will be Quicken-> QIF->PM->PMD.

The import/export support will probably be added to 1.1 of PMD.

That said, I can only say that once you get this worked out this will be the best thing ever. Also, can I go ahead and buy the desktop version now? If I can, will be lifetime updates? If I can buy it, you'll have my money before the day is out Hardy!

The pictures will sync when you sync from your iPhone directly to PMD.

You can buy the desktop version now. I'm not going to promise life time updates, but I am fairly generous with my updates. Version 2.0 might be an paid update, but the overall price for the app will also be rising for new purchasers once features are in line with iPhone version. So upgrades for 1.x will be free, but 2.0 will be a paid update. 2.0 will probably offer online banking support.

That sounds great Hardy, problem I'm having is every time I click the "purchase now" link either on the help section or when first starting up, nothing happens.

Are you using Windows, OS X or Linux?

It works for me on OS X when clicking the "Buy" button in the Quit/Buy/Use Trial dialog when you first open the app, and from the Help Menu > Purchase PocketMoney Desktop.

The only issue I'm having is it opens the payment window behind the "Quit/Buy/Use Trial dialog" so I need to move the dialog out of the way before I can access the payment window.

I'm using Windows 7 Pro.

I tried clicking the "buy" button when I first load and it simply goes on to loading my transactions and nothing else happens. I then go into "help" and to "Register Pocketmoney Desktop", I click on that and then I click on the "buy" button, again nothing happens. Here is screen video I made for you.

Hi

Long time user of PM on my iPhone and LOVE it. Today I ventured into the world of PMD for the sole reason of synching between device and Windows Desktop. I have "started" the Sync Server on Beat 5...But I'm not sure how I execute the actual sync.

Also how much is the program if I decide to purchase it?

Thanks and look forward to your reply as well as future updates.

Thanks for this wonderful program. I just started using the beta today as I am a long time ios user of pocket money.

It seems however that all amounts I enter to an account are rounded to ,00€. e.g. when I enter 720,67€ it turns that into 720,00€. I have the 2 decimal count checked in the preferences but it doesn't make any difference. Am I missing something?

thanks lot for your help.

I "think" that only current members of the Beta Test team can sync right now. They are different then we general beta users.

$19.95

OK, I see it now. I thought that all three places pulled the data from the same source?

Liking what I see, so far. I have been a PocketMoney Lite user for a long time now. My needs are growing to a point where upgrading to the full version makes sense for me. That brought me to investigate the desktop app and my first question.

Do you intend to integrate the budgeting features into PMD, eventually? I am only beginning to look into the budgeting feature offered on the ipod version, but it would be nice to know that eventually, I'd be able to review and adjust these things on the desktop, as well.

It will be added to the desktop version, but it's not going to be in version 1. Version 1's main goal is syncing data between iOS devices and desktop.

It's because you are using a comma for decimal separator. Non-period decimal separators are not supported yet.
